CBG is a compound present in very small quantities of the cannabis plant. According to National Insitututes of Health (NIH), this non-psychoactive molecule works to fight inflammation, pain, nausea and works to slow the proliferation of cancer cells. Research has shown it also significantly reduces intra-ocular eye pressure caused by glaucoma. Strains high in CBG are also used to treat conditions such as IBS (inflammatory bowel disease) and Crohn's disease.*
